Cancellation & Refund Policy

Good Leash Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Good Leash, we understand that plans can change.
Our policies are designed to ensure fairness for our clients while allowing our trainers and caregivers to maintain reliable schedules and provide the best possible service for all pets in our care.

Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled walk will receive no penalty.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the service fee.
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
  • Walks canceled due to extreme weather or unsafe conditions (as determined by Good Leash) may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Boarding & Board & Train Programs

  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to reserve your spot.

  • The remaining balance is due at drop-off (or the first day of service).

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled start date will receive a credit toward future services.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date will forfeit the deposit.

  • No refunds are issued for early pick-ups once boarding or training has begun, as space and time are reserved exclusively for your dog.

Note: Board & Train programs are highly scheduled and customized — rescheduling is not guaranteed but will be accommodated when possible.

Puppy Classes (Zoom)

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before a class will be rescheduled free of charge.
  • Missed or same-day cancellations will be counted as a completed session.
  • Packages (3-day, 4-day, or 5-day programs) are non-refundable but can be rescheduled within the same month.
  • If Good Leash must cancel a class, it will be rescheduled or credited to your next billing cycle.

Good Leash Academy (In-Person)

  • A 25% deposit is required to reserve your dog’s training slot.

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start date will be credited toward future sessions.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date will forfeit the deposit.

Once training has begun, no refunds are issued — but sessions may be rescheduled (with trainer approval) within 30 days.

1-on-1 Private Training

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be rescheduled with no fee.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the session rate.

  • No-shows will be charged in full.

Training packages (3-Session or 5-Session) are non-refundable once started but may be rescheduled within 60 days of purchase.

Refunds & Credits

  • Refunds are issued only in cases where services cannot be completed due to trainer or facility circumstances.

  • Credits may be applied to future bookings at Good Leash’s discretion.

All approved refunds are processed within 10-25 business days.

Emergencies & Exceptions

We understand emergencies happen. If you experience a family or medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll make every effort to work with you to reschedule or credit your service appropriately.

Acknowledgment

By booking or confirming services with Good Leash, clients acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
